Optional Filtration

The degree of filtration will largely determine the water quality output and the nature of the maintenance required. Azuratec include two stage filtration of the incoming water as standard in rainwater harvesting systems. Options include finer filtration and water diversion products which reduce the likelihood or frequency of cleaning the tanks themselves.

Optional Pump

Almost all rainwater harvesting systems require a pump to deliver the water from the storage to the outlet. The choice is typically dictated by the number of outlets connected to the system (eg. taps, toilets, sprinklers and washing machines). The distance and height from the pump to the outlet is also a factor. Generally, the larger the pump, the more outlets and the greater the height allowed.

Optional Sound proofing

Modern pumps are impressively quiet and the pump location will largely dictate the need for any secondary sound proofing. Azuratec provide optional products which house the pump and further reduce any possible noise pollution. We can also provide advice on the likelihood of needing sound proofing when quoting (Azuratec rely on EPA guidelines).

Optional Switching mains/tank

Where the tank water is being used for an essential service, like a toilet, a mains water back-up is required which will switch from tank to mains water if the tank water runs out. Azuratec can supply either automatic or manual switching.
