Where can they be installed?

  • StormTanks require a solid structure above them, so they need to be installed beneath a driveway, garage, patio or similar rigid surface.

Are there rebates for stormwater detention installations?

  • The requirement for stormwater detention is dictated by the plumbing code and council regulations and does not typically qualify for rebates.

How shallow are they?

  • The base of a StormTank system can be as little as 400mm below the finished surface.

Can I specify the orifice on the outlet as per my council's requirement?

  • Yes, we can provide any size required.

Can I clean the tanks out as part of a maintenance program?

  • Inspection ports can be installed on the system allowing for flush-cleaning. Azuratec specify a trash grate on the inlet pit that does require basic cleaning which in turn greatly reduces the build-up of sediment in the tanks.
